Do I need to make an appointment?
It is preferred that you make an appointment. You may call us at 727-6161 to book one.
If you cannot make an appointment please remember that walk-ins are very welcome.

How soon can I get an appointment?
You may be able to come in the same day you call. If there are no more openings that day, we can generally schedule your appointment within the next three business days.

How long will my appointment take?
The length of time varies depending on the services you request ...and the questions you have. Generally, plan to spend about 45 minutes with your counselor.

How soon after I think I might be pregnant can I come in for a test?
We can schedule your appointment two or three days after you miss your period.

Will you tell anyone that I came to the CPC or what the results of my pregnancy test were?
All client information is kept confidential within this organization, except when there is threat of physical harm (i.e., homicide, suicide, child abuse, or child neglect), which the law requires us to report.

I am undecided what to do if I am pregnant.  Will I get information on all of my options?
Absolutely!  We are committed to giving women full disclosure information on abortion, adoption, and parenting. Every woman's situation is unique, and she deserves to know all the facts so she can make an informed decision. We do not believe in withholding information from women in the decision-making process.

Will you try to persuade me to not have an abortion?
No. We are here to give you all of the information necessary, so that you can make your own personal decision. We provide non-judgmental peer counseling.
The Crisis Pregnancy Centre does not provide abortion referrals however, because we feel that an abortion compounds rather than solves the problems related to carrying an unplanned pregnancy.
We invite you to use us as a resource of trust and information.

I’m pregnant, how should I tell my parents?
Talk to someone you trust. Although you may feel alone and helpless in your pregnancy ...there is support. The Pregnancy Centre’s peer counselors truly care, and are trained to help. They can help you explore all the options available to you, and prepare you to discuss your pregnancy with your parents

My girlfriend thinks she's pregnant ... What should I do?
Your girlfriend needs someone to talk to. We can give you the facts you need to know. Don't pressure her. You can bring her in for a free and confidential pregnancy test.
You both need someone to talk to. We can give you the facts you need to know.
